Terms of participation – Seed of Caggtus

1. Organizer

The organizer of the tournament is the operator named in the legal notice on https://rimionship.com.

2. Tournament management

Tournament management is appointed by the organizer and is responsible for the operational execution of the tournament.

Current tournament management (Discord):

  • Tiduin (tiduin)

Changes to tournament management are announced on https://rimionship.com and on Discord.

Responsibilities include in particular:

  • interpreting the rules in individual cases
  • reviewing results
  • decisions in case of violations of terms or rules
  • decisions in technical disputes

3. Tournament type

The Seed of Caggtus is a free, skill-based online tournament. There is no entry fee. Ranking is determined exclusively by tournament results according to the rules.

4. Eligibility

Eligible participants are natural persons who:

  • are at least 18 years old,
  • own the RimWorld base game,
  • have installed the required tournament mod versions,
  • have linked a Twitch account on https://rimionship.com.

Participation is available worldwide, except for countries/regions where participation or prize delivery is legally prohibited or technically not possible.

5. How to participate

There is no separate sign-up form. Participation is completed by:

  1. linking a Twitch account on https://rimionship.com and
  2. playing the Seed of Caggtus during the published tournament period.

6. Exclusion from participation

The organizer may exclude participants for legitimate reasons, in particular in case of:

  • violation of these terms or the rules,
  • use of unauthorized tools/mods, cheats or exploits,
  • manipulation of results,
  • unsportsmanlike behavior or insults.

7. Prize

1st place receives an electronic code for a festival ticket (without LAN access), day ticket for CAGGTUS Leipzig 2026.

  • The prize is a non-cash prize.
  • The day ticket is sponsored by CAGGTUS Leipzig (Leipziger Messe GmbH, see https://www.caggtus.de/de/impressum).
  • The electronic code can be redeemed until the end of CAGGTUS Leipzig 2026.
  • Cash payout or exchange is excluded where legally permissible.
  • The electronic code is transferable until redemption.
  • After redemption on the CAGGTUS Leipzig ticket website, the ticket is tied to a person and the ticket provider's terms apply.

8. Winner notification and prize delivery

Winner notification and prize delivery are carried out via the Twitch messaging function (direct messages/whispers) of the linked Twitch account.

The winner is responsible for ensuring that:

  • the linked Twitch account is reachable and can receive messages.

9. Changes / cancellation

The organizer reserves the right to adjust, interrupt or cancel the tournament for important reasons (e.g. technical issues, abuse, security problems).

10. Liability

The organizer is liable in accordance with statutory provisions. Liability for technical disruptions outside the organizer's control (e.g. outages of Twitch, Steam, participant internet connections) is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

This tournament is conducted independently by the organizer. The day ticket for CAGGTUS Leipzig is sponsored as a non-cash prize by CAGGTUS Leipzig (Leipziger Messe GmbH). Apart from this prize sponsorship, the tournament has no further affiliation with CAGGTUS Leipzig or Twitch and is neither organized nor administered by them. CAGGTUS Leipzig (Leipziger Messe GmbH) and Twitch are not contacts for tournament operations and assume no liability in this regard.

11. Privacy

12. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these terms of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
